Findability addresses the question of how easy it is to locate, discover or navigate to a desirable item or piece of information. This is beyond the digital world, but has a particular importance to the World Wide Web.

Arugably findability is the most important thing on the web. To use something you have to find it first. Research has shown that users start most of their interaction with a website by using a search engine. Therefore, search engine advertising (SEA) and search engine optimization (SEO) are some of the most important aspects of any web project.
